* Fontanel Young Talent Lectures
The largest Dutch online design magazine went by a number of art schools to spot the hottest graduation talent of 2012. During the GDFB2012 lecture series a selection of these talents will share their thoughts on current design practice.

** Gestalten Lectures
International design and art publisher Gestalten will present a special lecture program about 'visual storytelling'. Gestalten publishes over 50 books a year that document and anticipate vital movements on diverse subjects across the visual arts, design, architecture, and photography as well as urban and contemporary art. Online Gestalten informs design fans through their video portraits on visual innovators and leaders on Gestalten TV. Gestalten published Visual Storytelling (2011), the first book to focus solely on this new visual language, with designers translating information into elegant, entertaining, and informative visuals. The lectures will feature designers from a wide range of disciplines.

The lectures are held at the Lutherse and Waalse. These churches are both in the center of Breda and are a 5 minute walk apart. They are also in walking distance of the other GDFB2012 locations. It it is possible to switch locations throughout the day.

You can start planning your trip to Breda to visit GDFB2012 as the ticket sales for the lectures has started. Lecture tickets per day cost €17,50 and for three days cost €42,50. This does not include service costs (€1,50 per transaction). Check out the options here. We are also offering advice on overnight stay. The exhibitions and events in the public space, all within walking distance from one another in the center of Breda, are mostly free of charge.
